Registration is now open for the Earth Day 5K Fun Run & Walk, which will take place Saturday, April 23, on the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø campus.

Special early bird fees—$15 for adults and $10 for children under 10—are available through April 1. After April 1, prices will be $20 for adults and $15 for children under 10. The fees, which are non-refundable, cover registration, a T-shirt, refreshments, and a raffle ticket for door prizes.

Check-in and registration for the Fun Run & Walk will start at 8 a.m. April 23, with the run and walk to follow at 9 a.m. There is no rain date.

The non-competitive event, hosted by the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Student Senate, will be on Turner Track at Trevor Field. Participants will start at Turner Track, then run and walk through downtown Galesburg before they return to the track to finish.

Proceeds will go to Trees4Galesburg, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to plant trees in Galesburg. More information about the organization is available at .
