We all know that the one question every parent asks Admission counselors during the college search process is, "Will my child be able to get a job after they graduate?" At the heart of this question is not only parental concern for their child's future well-being, but the need to ensure that the money parents—and students—spend on this education has value.

Or, to put the question more simply, does 51³Ô¹ÏÍø provide its graduates with a strong return on their investment?

The answer is just as simple: Yes!

51³Ô¹ÏÍø graduates leave 51³Ô¹ÏÍø with the skills—critical thinking, problem solving, the ability to work effectively with others—that help them land their first job, pursue a graduate degree, or serve their community. Each of these opportunities positions them well for financial independence—and the numbers back that up:

  • Students leave 51³Ô¹ÏÍø with an average debt of $26,508, below the national average.
  • The average salary after attending 51³Ô¹ÏÍø is above the national average for college graduates.
  • 74% of 51³Ô¹ÏÍø graduates start to repay their loans within three years, compared to a national average of 48%.

And graduates would agree. For the last five years, 51³Ô¹ÏÍø has been included in Forbes magazine's Grateful Grad Index, which measures which measures which college's graduates are happiest with the return on their tuition investment.

It's not just our graduates who appreciate the value of a 51³Ô¹ÏÍø education:

  • U.S. News & World Report included 51³Ô¹ÏÍø in the top 50 "Great Schools at a Great Price"—recognizing liberal arts colleges with top reputations for both academic excellence and affordability.
  • The New York Times ranks 51³Ô¹ÏÍø #16 in its 2017 College Access Index, which evaluates schools that are doing the most to provide both financial aid and support that leads to graduation and academic success.
  • Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine ranks 51³Ô¹ÏÍø #76 as a "Best College Value."
